Base Pay:$20.21 an hour

- Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Attends Alarms, Sorter stoppages and out of Q condition
- Responds to poor grind quality reported by grind line operator, makes appropriate grinder setup changes as needed
- Adjusting tire flow (TUO reassignment when needed) due to unscheduled TUO downtime
- Monitor individual TUO reject conveyors, assuring proper documentation is on sidewall of tire before forwarding to reclass
- Request electronics, electrical and or mechanical support through the MAPS maintenance system
- Attend to conveyor malfunctions and stock jams to maintain production flow
- Regularly cross checks tires on other uniformity machines to ensure that good tires are not downgraded or bad tires passed
- Runs CV check tires for radial department, record reading, and call results to appropriate people
- Runs over sample for Quality Systems and records readings
- Assists Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Technicians in trouble shooting uniformity machines
- Checks dust collector once per shift and empties dust barrels as necessary
- 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week)
- The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
- The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.
