RN Day Shift (Sign On $5000) – Riverwoods Behavioral Health System

Location:

Riverwoods Behavioral Health, Texarkana, AR.

Shift: Day 7a-7p or Night 7p-7a. Full Time.

Rates: starting at $38/hr, plus $5000 sign‑on bonus.

River View is a 62‑bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to high‑quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 11‑17) with behavioral health and chemical dependency issues.

Personal Panic Alarm devices are provided in all clinical and non‑clinical areas.

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records, and educate patients and families.
• Deliver nursing care within the scope of state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Ensure physician orders are accurately transcribed and legible.
• Assess patient status continuously, document information, and notify physicians of significant changes.
• Complete admission and discharge processes accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate therapeutic rapport with patients, maintaining professional boundaries and respectful personal space.
• Apply universal precautions in direct patient care.
• Accurately administer medications and document controlled substances.
• Provide direction or coordinate unit activities as directed.
• Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, colleagues, and others involved in treatment.

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Preferred: at least one year of nursing experience in a clinical area similar to facility services.

• Current Arkansas RN license.
• First Aid, CPR, de‑escalation, and restraint certification required (training available on hire).
