Join Our Team as an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician

Our beautiful apartment community in Texarkana, AR, is seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Service Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. • Perform all maintenance and repair work for the apartments, supportive buildings, common areas, breezeways, irrigation systems, and grounds.
• Complete all service requests within one business day except in extraordinary circumstances.
• Coordinate turnkey work in vacant apartments including debris removal, repairs & replacement, painting, lock & key rotation, and inspection.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and adequately stocked maintenance shop.
• Be on call for 24‑hour emergency maintenance service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Provide technical guidance to personnel engaged in maintenance and repair activities.
• Complete semi‑annual and quarterly Preventive Maintenance Reports on various property aspects.
• Perform maintenance, repair and operational tasks on swimming pool equipment.
• Paint all interior and exterior surfaces related to the apartment community.
• Comply with Fair Housing Act regulations at all times.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.

• HVAC or EPA certification preferred.
• Pool operation and maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of appliance repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, and basic understanding of electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems.
• Must be available to work in an on‑call capacity as related to our 24‑hour routine maintenance guarantee.

• Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist into small areas.
• Ability to bend forward when picking up objects from the ground.
• Ability to reach overhead for extended periods due to overhead repair work.
