Job Summary:

To ensure that the duties and responsibilities assigned are carried out in an effective, consistent and cost-efficient manner that will assure the required protection of bank assets; promotes teamwork by leading and/or participating in internal and external bank activities; and ensure compliance with audit and operational regulations and guidelines.

• The main purpose is to provide backup and assistance in all areas of the Deposit Operations Group
• Process incoming and outgoing wires
• Learn daily work functions of deposit operations and assist as a backup and relief as needed
• Handle deposits and balancing of Merchant Capture and Mobile Deposit as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information
• Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions
• Answer daily phone calls and respond to emails from branch office
• Assist with gathering research data and audit data as needed

• Preferably two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Attention to detail and accuracy while working in a timely manner
• Exercise alertness, courtesy, and tact while maintaining confidentiality of the Bank’s records
• Sound knowledge of established procedures, methods, and practices
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, work well with others and have the ability to prioritize and organize
• Satisfactory typing skills and knowledge of applicable PC software
