• The Level‑III NICU has 8 beds and the intermediate unit has 7 with an average daily census of 9 infants.
• The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2,100 deliveries annually.
• NNPs provide 24‑hour, in‑house coverage and also care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.

BC/BE neonatology, board eligibility, and a strong commitment to high‑quality patient care. Specific qualifications are listed below:

• Board certification or eligibility in neonatology
• Experience providing neonatal intensive care and post‑natal acuity management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient‑centered decision‑making skills
