Directs supervision of the Nondestructive Test (NDT) staff, assuring that the requirements of NAS 410 are met. Oversees destructive testing personnel with functions performed through application of departmental plans, policies, and procedures to accomplish satisfactory completion of departmental assignments.

• NDT technical training - Preferred
• 3-5+ years NDT radiography experience - Required (Levels)
• Supervisory experience - Preferred

• Exercises initiative, discretion, and independent judgment in duties.
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
  Computer literacy.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Ability to interpret codes, standards, and contractual documents that control job responsibilities.
• Ability to conduct or direct training and examination of personnel in the certified method.
• Near vision must be Jaeger No. 1 or equivalent, not less than 30cm/12 inches in at least one eye; ability to distinguish and differentiate colors.
