We are currently seeking PRN LVN’s for our Home Health department to:

• Make assessments of Elders, obtaining vitals, listening to their lungs, checking for any changes in conditions or elements. Fill medication boxes. Communicates with doctor offices/pharmacy for new orders or refills
• Perform basic daily nursing functions
• Issue proper medications
• Meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner - while maintaining high standards and quality care

Required Education/Certification/Licensure:

• Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.

Worker Traits:

• Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative

Training and

Experience:

• Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.

Job Knowledge:

• Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
