Mission:
To provide on-the-job training and contribute to accounting and financial operations within the petroleum industry.

What You’ll Actually Do

Analyze:
Analyze and process business documents, including accounting and financial data.
Prepare:
Prepare accurate financial statement journal entries and general ledger account reconcilements.
Support:
Assist in preparing budgets and gathering necessary tax information.
Test:
Conduct testing of SOX and Non-SOX controls within auditing processes.
Collaborate:
Interface with various departments to develop cross-functional relationships.

The Must-Haves

Background:
Entry-level position. Candidates must be concurrently enrolled in a bachelor’s or higher degree-seeking program for the duration of the experience, with an Accounting major preferred but other business majors considered.
Experience:

Strong academic performance is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Skills:

Ability to analyze accounting and financial data. Ability to use various software programs (with training provided).
Bonus:
Military experience is a plus.
