Position Summary
Eosol Group is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Site Construction Manager to oversee construction operations on our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are performed in compliance with approved safety programs while maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in project management specifically within the wind and solar energy sector, with a robust understanding of civil, electrical, and fiber communication specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all operations on the construction site adhere to both Owner site regulations and contractor safety programs. Lead the effort to implement and monitor safety initiatives and provide necessary training to all personnel on site. - Quality Oversight:
Oversee the construction quality program, confirming that all project deliverables meet the specified requirements of the project as well as Owner quality standards. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance. - Project Management:
Manage project execution from start to finish, ensuring alignment with the project timeline, budget, and specifications. Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to facilitate seamless operations and communication. - Technical Expertise:
Provide expert guidance on civil, electrical, and fiber communication work, interpreting plans and specifications to address any issues that arise during construction. - Scheduling & Cost Management:
Utilize Microsoft Office, Primavera/MS Project scheduling tools, and SAP cost management software to create and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and manage budgets effectively. - Prioritization & Multitasking:
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing project conditions and schedules as necessary. - Field Supervision:
Spend significant time on-site, leading construction teams and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure that work is completed efficiently, safely, and according to assigned specifications. - Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between Eosol Group, stakeholders, contractors, and the Owner, providing updates on project status, schedules, and any issues that may arise. - Physical Demands:
Be comfortable working at heights of up to 300 feet and capable of performing essential physical functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role as a Site Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Plant Manager, preferably within the wind or solar energy sectors.
- Proven understanding of construction processes and specifications related to civil, electrical, and fiber communication work.
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements and safety standards in construction environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Primavera or MS Project. Experience with SAP cost management is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Valid driver’s license is required, as this position may require travel to various site locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
