Job Duties- Prepare, develop, revise curriculum and course work.
- Meet classes as scheduled.
- Complete all instruction‑related paperwork (e.g., textbook requests, incomplete grade contracts, etc.) in a timely fashion, i.e., by the deadline given by the supervisor.
- Define and practice a clear communication policy with students (e.g., maintain office hours for student consultation and return student emails and phone calls).
- Participate in student advisement and mentoring activities as needed and assigned.
- Adhere to the College academic calendar (e.g., with regard to submission of grades, attendance at mandatory events, and required contact hours in courses taught). Other duties as appropriate to the position.
Instructional experience in teaching Adult Basic Education, Adult Literacy, Adult English as a Second Language, or GED preparation preferred.
