As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead, you will supervise, organize, and oversee the daily activities of the Nuclear Medicine department and the performance of the staff Nuclear Medicine Technologists. Job SummaryYou must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. You will perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures. You may perform emergency care. You will inspect machinery, office equipment, and/or medical equipment. You will receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records. You will perform all related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, etc.
Qualifications- Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
- One year of previous Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital environment is required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license is required.
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
- (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist
