What You’ll Do as an Attending EMT
You will serve as the frontline in providing safe, compassionate care during emergency and non-emergency transports.
Provide high-quality emergency & non-emergency medical care
Perform patient assessments and basic life support interventions
Assist Paramedics and other medical professionals as needed
Safely operate an ambulance in accordance with laws, policies, and EMS protocols
Document all patient care accurately in the ePCR
Maintain ambulance readiness through daily checks, cleaning, and restocking
Communicate clearly and professionally with hospitals, team members, and dispatch
Uphold all EMS protocols and medical direction standards
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families
This role includes 24-hour shifts and a 48-hour work week for full-time positions. Part-time scheduling is flexible based on candidate availability and scheduling needs.
✔️What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Texas EMT-Basic license (TxDSHS)
AHA CPR/BLS certification
Protocol certification from the Medical Director (within 30 days of hire)
Ability to provide excellent patient care in fast-paced settings
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork and customer service mindset
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must meet immunization, background check, and drug/alcohol screening requirements
Strong computer skills, including ePCR and Microsoft Office
Preferred but not required:
Prior 911 or EMS transport experience
ICS training
EVOC/CEVO driving certification
