You will serve as the frontline in providing safe, compassionate care during emergency and non-emergency transports.

• Provide high-quality emergency & non-emergency medical care

• Perform patient assessments and basic life support interventions

• Assist Paramedics and other medical professionals as needed

• Safely operate an ambulance in accordance with laws, policies, and EMS protocols

• Document all patient care accurately in the ePCR

• Maintain ambulance readiness through daily checks, cleaning, and restocking

• Communicate clearly and professionally with hospitals, team members, and dispatch

• Uphold all EMS protocols and medical direction standards

• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families

This role includes 24-hour shifts and a 48-hour work week for full-time positions. Part-time scheduling is flexible based on candidate availability and scheduling needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Texas EMT-Basic license (TxDSHS)

• AHA CPR/BLS certification

• Protocol certification from the Medical Director (within 30 days of hire)

• Ability to provide excellent patient care in fast-paced settings

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Strong teamwork and customer service mindset

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Must meet immunization, background check, and drug/alcohol screening requirements

• Strong computer skills, including ePCR and Microsoft Office

Preferred but not required:

• Prior 911 or EMS transport experience

• ICS training

• EVOC/CEVO driving certification
