* * Work with the BU to define target geographies (e.g. Americas, EMEA, APJC), customer segments (e.g. VMware‑centric, greenfield cloud, MSPs), and a differentiated positioning for the hybrid/multi-cloud control‑plane category aligned to Ops Ramp, Morpheus, and VME offerings.
* ** Technical Acumen:
** Proven depth in hybrid-cloud control plane orchestration, multi-cloud governance, Fin Ops, and virtualization ecosystems—especially VMware/VM Essentials integration + observability tooling like Ops Ramp
* ** Execution Orientation:
** Must be comfortable “rolling up sleeves” in a startup mindset within enterprise context. Able to pivot rapidly and own execution gaps directly.
* ** Business & Financial Rigor:
** Skilled in TAM/SAM/SOM assessment, pricing strategy, regional P&L construction, financial modeling, and quarterly reporting cadence.
* ** Collaboration & Influence:
** Excellent interpersonal skills to influence BU leaders, regional sales heads, engineering/product teams, and channel partners.
* *
* Education:
** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business. MBA or advanced technical/business degree preferred.

* Experience:
** 15+ years in enterprise software or infrastructure leadership roles, including launching or scaling software/GTM categories globally within matrixed organizations. Demonstrated success in cloud/hybrid/cloud-native sales motions.
The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.
-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered.
