Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud data architectures (Data Lakes, Lake houses, Warehouses) on major platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Develop advanced data models, define robust ETL/ELT processes, and design high-performance data pipelines for real-time and batch analytics.
  • Establish data governance, quality, lineage, privacy (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and security frameworks across cloud environments.
  • Lead technical teams, mentor junior architects, and work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and security teams.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Streaming), optimize existing solutions, and support pre-sales/RFP activities.
  • Hands-on work with key cloud services (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, Glue; Azure Synapse; Google Cloud Platform Big Query) and platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience:

    10+ years in data architecture, with significant focus on cloud platforms.
  • Cloud Platforms:
    Deep expertise in at least one (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Data Technologies:
    Strong grasp of data modeling, warehousing, streaming, and big data technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
  • Programming/Tools:
    Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Concepts:
    Data Mesh, Lakehouse, AI/ML integration, Data Governance.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.
  • Relevant Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer).
