• Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the unit to provide quality patient care.
• Apply knowledge and skill to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for appropriate age populations.
• Provide professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Provide leadership cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg clinical experience as an RN in acute care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
