Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required

• NRP and ENPC certifications preferred

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency assessment, care, and treatment to patients in the ER

• Perform procedures including vaginal exams and rapid emergency interventions

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care (4:1 patient ratio)

• Operate Tele Neuro machines, EKG machines, and Rapid Infuser

• Document patient care using Meditech EMR system

• Hold patients in the Emergency Department as needed

• Maintain compliance with hospital and unit policies
