Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to provide reassurance, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support security-related operations at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the location.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site guidelines.
- Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- A TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
