Job OverviewHPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is searching for an IS Technician III to join their safety-conscious team. The role involves hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials.

- Enforce safety policies and procedures for company and customers, covering operations, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions.
- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment.
- Operate special equipment such as ultra high‑pressure pumps, hydroblasting and chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
- Examine surfaces after cleaning for compliance.
- Conduct routine and required maintenance on units, peripherals, industrial vacuuming equipment, and disposal of hazardous/non-hazardous materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment:
Nomex coveralls, black belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, fresh air mask, escape pack, hard hat. - Work in extreme climatic conditions: heat index over 95°F, 98% humidity, and subzero weather.
- Endure exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, exhaust, and high‑pressure fluids.
- 3+ years industrial experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Capability to perform physical functions required by the responsibilities.
- Availability on‑call for emergency response, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts up to 24 hours.
- Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical exam.
- Vocational preparation, classroom safety training, and on‑the‑job experience.
- English proficiency for safety training and emergency instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policy.
- OSHA certification may be required.
- Knowledge of emergency equipment operation (fire extinguishers).
- May require Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time.
