Tax Professional - Franchise Location

Seasonal role at H&R Block. Bring your expertise in tax to help clients with diverse needs while growing your network and skills within a supportive team.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide IRS support and guidance to clients
• Mentor and support teammates

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfort using virtual tools – video, phone, chat
• Strong communication skills (in person, phone, writing)
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred
