Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Processing of Accounting Data

Setup of Financial Statements for Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Closed Corporations

Tax affairs and planning for clients

General Ledger Reconciliations

Cash Flow Forecast Planning

Maintaining Fixed Asset Register

Payroll Administration with reference to salaries and wages

Preparation of VAT, PAYE and Provisional Tax

Registration of entities and other statutory registrations

Desired Experience & Qualification

REQUIREMENTS:

B.Com and Articles with references (SAIPA member in practice will be to your advantage)

Must be able to meet deadlines on a monthly basis

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

Must have the knowledge to work independently and under pressure

Only applicants in possession of a valid SA
-document and who meet the stipulated criteria need to apply

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

Sage Pastel 50, Sage One and Sage Pay knowledge

Caseware Working papers

Acc Fin Sky knowledge

Computer literate including Outlook, Word and Excel

Depending on qualifications and experience
