Responsibilities
  • This Accounting Manager will lead a small team of general ledger accounting professionals through month end close, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team, resolve issues, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of accounting functions, practices and US GAAP principles.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Oversee and deliver the overall accounting responsibilities for assigned businesses.
  • Mentor accountants on processes and procedures, provide feedback and coaching.
  • Analyze and resolve complex accounting, reporting and process issues across reporting lines and departments.
  • Review and verify monthly journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and support reconciliation of variances.
  • Support month‑end intercompany reconciliations, prepare quarterly and year‑end financial reporting schedules.
  • Identify and document process improvements, develop internal controls, and assist the Accounting Controller and Corporate Accounting with ad‑hoc analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years professional accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of general accounting functions, practices and US GAAP principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and lead teams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with good judgment and logical decision‑making ability.
  • Prior experience in a global organization and software industry preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Cognos preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
