Sr Accountant

BCUS is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Accountant. This role will collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting for the Systems Division, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and completeness of the division’s financial results and balance sheet accounts. The Senior Accountant actively participates in monthly close activities, prepares journal entries, reconciles key accounts, and supports internal and external audits.

This role will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and providing insights to support strategic decision‑making.

The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this position.

Qualified candidates should possess the following combination of

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 year of professional accounting experience required; 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Prior manufacturing and/or energy services sector experience preferred.
• Proficient in cost and project accounting, with ability to identify and track key variables across individual projects.
• Skilled in data entry, cost analysis, and intercompany account reconciliation.

• English: fluent spoken and written.
