The HT Group is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a client team between the Warren and Kountze areas.
Position Details- Job Type

Contract to Hire / Full-Time - Schedule
:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - Pay
: $50,000–$60,000/year ($24–$29/hour), DOE - Dress Code
:
Business Casual / Professional
- Handle daily AP/AR
, invoices, payments, and financial transactions. - Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries and help identify account discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general accounting tasks.
- Work with management and staff on accounting-related questions.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with strong AP/AR experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end close.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Tyler Technologies or a similar accounting system is a plus; training will be provided on the company's system.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
