Description POSITION OVERVIEW
Computes, calculates, and posts statistical, numerical, and financial data.
SUMMARY OFESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
(In order of importance)
- Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial area.
- May develop queries; generates and distributes reports
- Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
- Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
LEVEL 1 0-2 years of experience. Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the position or specialization. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems.
Minimum Education al RequirementsHigh School/GED
Required Abilities And/Or SkillsComputer skills - must have experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
Ten-key by touch
Good communication skills
Working ConditionsOffice Environment
Standard 40 hours - may require occasional overtime.
Travel 0-10% of the time
