The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in maintaining accurate, up-to-date inventory data and supporting the daily operations of the purchasing department. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of item information, SKUs, and bin locations in our systems, as well as performing regular cycle counts and system clean‑up tasks. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and highly comfortable with data entry and inventory software.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory Data Management
- Create and prepare SKUs for online marketing and retail
- Update and maintain SKU information, descriptions, and tags within the POS system
- Manage price changes and ensure accurate labeling and re‑tagging
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies
- Monitor and resolve negative inventory reports through data validation and adjustments
- Maintain serialized item records, ensuring all updates and transactions are accurately logged
- Oversee bin location maintenance and assist with reorganization or relabeling as needed
- Perform ongoing inventory and POS data clean‑up tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support the Purchaser with reporting, vendor updates, and other administrative inventory functions
- Assist in the development of improved workflows for SKU management and stock tracking
- Strong computer skills
, including experience with POS or inventory management systems (POSIM experience preferred) - Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Proficient in 10‑key and fast data input
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant coursework preferred
- Prior experience in inventory control, purchasing, or data administration is a plus

Pay rate will be based on knowledge and experience.
