. Pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour. The position is open now with hiring underway. Qualified candidates will gain exposure to automotive repair under ASE Certified technicians, eventually progressing to become a certified ASE Automotive Technician.

• Safely transport customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Pick up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operate company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation.
• Perform oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• While performing basic services, observe general vehicle condition and point out any obvious needed repairs or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager, using the company’s Multi‑point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop—service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior—to keep the environment clean and inviting.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid Texas Emissions Inspector license (highly preferred).
• Ability to work a minimum of five days a week, including Saturdays.
• Energetic, hardworking, and passionate about cars; high motivation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous substances. Temperatures may vary and can be extreme hot or cold.

Physical requirements:

• Stand and walk for up to eight hours per day; be able to reach various areas of the building.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; have full range of motion with arms and hands.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Hear and speak.
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus.
