, you'll lead the charge in expanding Wahl's presence across major U.S. pet specialty retailers and beyond. From Pet Smart and Petco to Tractor Supply and emerging e-commerce platforms, you'll build partnerships that deliver growth, innovation, and exceptional experiences for pet parents everywhere.
You’ll be the strategic force behind Wahl's pet category growth, blending data-driven insights with relationship-building expertise. Your day-to-day will include:
- Serving as the primary account lead for Pet Smart, Petco, TSC, and other key retailers
- Negotiating distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to expand Wahl's pet portfolio
- Developing and executing omni-channel growth strategies that integrate in-store presence with e-commerce acceleration
- Using POS and syndicated data to uncover trends, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Building fact-based selling stories and compelling business reviews to influence retailer decisions
- Partnering with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver flawless product launches and promotional execution
- Driving innovation planning, shopper marketing, and joint business planning initiatives
- Monitoring competitive activity and consumer trends to stay ahead of the market
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing key accounts in pet care or CPG, with proven success in Pet Specialty (Pet Smart, Petco, TSC preferred)
- Strong analytical and financial acumen; proficiency with POS, Nielsen/IRI, and BI tools
- Experience developing omni-channel strategies across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute with urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Ability to travel up to 50%
