Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, project managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for fire sprinkler projects based on blueprints, specifications, and job site assessments.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate scope and gather essential data for estimating.
  • Lead project walkthroughs and collaborate with the design and operations teams to ensure accurate bidding.
  • Submit proposals and manage bid follow‑up communications.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales while maintaining profit margins.
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Stay informed about market trends, code changes, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and client communications in the company CRM.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating within the fire sprinkler industry.
  • High school diploma or GED required; further technical education or NICET certifications a plus.
  • RME (Responsible Managing Employee) certification is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of fire protection systems, NFPA standards, and construction processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well within our team, as well as with our clients.
  • Proficient with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and basic digital tools.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Schedule

Full-Time — Monday to Friday

Work Location

Onsite — Office and project locations as needed (Fort Worth, TX)
