Construction Supervisor

Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the activities on new build, rebuild, extension, expansion, design, and planning construction projects to ensure they are completed in accordance with established standards. Administers some aspects of construction activities, including materials, labor, and resource allocation planning. Acts as lead in teams and projects. Has developed knowledge and skills in own discipline. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

• Compiles and coordinates all phases of construction projects including pre‑construction meetings, site surveys, permit and license applications, make‑ready, design and documentation, material procurement, contract labor requirements, and plant activation.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, and at least two (2) years of experience in Coax/Fiber construction in a supervisory position.

• Ability to stand, walk, sit
• Ability to use hands to handle or feet
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Extended periods of exposure to computer screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to work as a team.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, Smartsheet.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of the physical construction and design of aerial and underground cable plant including coax.
