This is a senior, hands‑on position for an experienced designer or architect who can lead a variety of project types independently, manage and mentor designers, and actively contribute to business growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping design direction, client experience, and the future of the firm across hospitality, gaming, medical, and office space projects
.
- Lead commercial interior design and architectural projects from concept through construction.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact.
- Oversee design development, documentation, and consultant coordination.
- Manage and mentor junior and mid‑level designers/architects.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Bring in new work through existing relationships, networking, and referrals.
- Represent NuVu Interiors at client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Support proposals, interviews, and business development efforts.
- 8–12+ years of commercial interior design or architectural experience.
- Proven experience leading projects and managing designers/architects.
- Strong client‑facing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to bring in work and contribute to firm growth.
Proficiency in Revit
. - Solid understanding of building codes, permitting, and consultant coordination.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a boutique studio environment.
- Experience or interest in hospitality, gaming, medical, and office space projects is highly valued.
