Job Description:
The Compass Production Technician assists with Video and Lighting needs for the weekend services.
Working Hours:
Part Time/Hourly/As Needed
We Require:
A committed Christian who is comfortable working in a Church environment (Visit to learn about our beliefs, mission, values and vision) with the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Main Weekend Services:
Operate Camera or video switcher for the weekend serviceAssist in training new volunteersOperate lights for the weekend serviceAssist with troubleshooting technical issuesRun A/V systems for outside events as needed and availableComplete other tasks or duties assigned by the Production DirectorKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Current with latest best practices of Video & LightingWork well with the production team and worship team to execute the weekend services at a high levelHigh degree of initiative, accountability and attention to detailPrompt response and resolution to constructive feedback from the Production DirectorGood problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and avoid potential problems before they happenAbility to manage multiple priorities calmly under pressure and to adjust, when needed, to the changes in priorities or conditions of the fast-paced production industryAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, and cooperatively as part of a teamAbility to maintain constructive, positive relationships with co-workersProfessional attitude and appearance; positive spirit and enthusiasmQualifications
