We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-week locum tenens assignment at a Trauma Center in Texas. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features a schedule of four 24-hour shifts per month on an ongoing basis. The assignment involves working in a hospital with an emergency department and caring for a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric cases.

Experience in rural healthcare and emergency medicine is highly preferred.

• Provide emergency medical care in a Trauma Center setting
• Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, extubation, and ventilation management
• Conduct history and physical examinations (H&P)
• Respond to and manage emergency codes
• Treat a diverse patient population: approximately 20 percent pediatric, 25 percent geriatric, and 1 percent trauma cases
• Collaborate with clinic-based specialists and utilize available services such as X-ray, lab, and OB

• Must be licensed to practice in Texas
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR is required
• Rural healthcare and emergency medicine experience highly preferred
