Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience
- Doctorate in British Literature (ABD applicants considered, appointment at instructor rank, all degree requirements must be completed by February 1, 2027)
- Two years of teaching experience in British literature or related subjects (graduate student teaching accepted)
- Expertise in World Literature or Literary Theory
- Teaching a 4‑4 course load of face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online undergraduate and occasional graduate courses
- Courses include British literature surveys, Shakespeare, other literature courses, as well as composition
- Advising students and mentoring English majors’ activities and organizations
- Scholarly research and publication
- Participating in curriculum development and assessment
- Engaging in service to the department, college, university, and community
