Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience

• Doctorate in British Literature (ABD applicants considered, appointment at instructor rank, all degree requirements must be completed by February 1, 2027)
• Two years of teaching experience in British literature or related subjects (graduate student teaching accepted)

• Expertise in World Literature or Literary Theory

• Teaching a 4‑4 course load of face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online undergraduate and occasional graduate courses
• Courses include British literature surveys, Shakespeare, other literature courses, as well as composition
• Advising students and mentoring English majors’ activities and organizations
• Scholarly research and publication
• Participating in curriculum development and assessment
• Engaging in service to the department, college, university, and community
