Duties / ResponsibilitiesThe technician will collect data in the field on transplanted seeds. These data include fitness components (germination success, survival, reproductive success, fecundity) along with trait data (e.g., flowering time, plant size, leaf morphological characteristics).
Percentage of time: 75%
The technician will communicate with the PI and project leaders, sharing datasets and troubleshooting challenges that arise.
Percentage of time: 10%
- The technician will prepare and maintain the field site for the common garden, including mowing, tilling, weeding, setting up fencing, establishing experimental treatments, and ensuring that all equipment is in working order.
Percentage of time: 15% - Other duties as assigned
