Adjunct Instructor of English for Faculty Pool

Location: Alpine, Texas

Salary: $2,550‑$3,200 per class, based on qualifications and enrollments

Required: Masters of Arts in English

Preferred: Prior university teaching experience, Blackboard experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach English courses at a variety of times and locations
• Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
• Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
• Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
