• Coordinate the public services programs of the Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) Library, which include library instructional services, reference and information services, programming and events, outreach and engagement activities, and access services.
• Assist the Director of Library Information and Technical Services in maintaining library operations, recommending policies and procedures in support of managing the library collections and services.

• This position requires a Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA or AASL accredited institution.
• This position requires one (1) year of professional experience, preferably working in a college library or higher educational institution providing information literacy instruction, professional training, or teaching in person and online.
• This position requires a demonstrated competency with library information systems and databases, knowledge of emerging technologies and instructional multimedia applications.
• This position requires excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for working with diverse populations, and a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• A criminal background check is required.
