Grady ISD is an A rated 1A rural school approximately 30 miles northeast of Midland. We average around 250 students grades prek-12. Our students have been very successful both academically and athletically with multiple students advancing to the state level each year. Our district is also a one-to-one district for technology. Grady ISD is a beautiful campus that is only five years old and improvements are continually being made to ensure we have top of the line facilities for our students.

Grady ISD is a TEA A-Rated, close-knit, high-performing district where students excel both academically and athletically, with multiple state-level qualifiers each year. We are a 1:1 technology district and recently passed a $22 million bond to further enhance our six-year-old campus with new improvements, updates, and additions. Grady also offers low-rent teacher housing, providing staff an affordable and convenient living option just steps away from campus.
Position: Grady ISD is seeking a certified teacher to join our team.
Possible teaching assignments include:
- English
- Technology
- Spanish
Coaching opportunities may also be available on the girls’ side, with stipends provided for coaching and extracurricular duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification (appropriate to field)
- College Graduates enrolled in an alternative certification program will be considered
Salary Range:
- Salary: $14,000 above state base pay PLUS, additional step raises (newest state step increases are added on top)
- 1–4 years’ experience: add $4,000
- 5+ years’ experience: add $8,000
Benefits:
- Health Insurance Add-On: $8,000 added to the educator’s salary whether or not district insurance is taken (counts toward TRS-eligible compensation)
- Stipends available for UIL, sponsor ships, and coaching assignments
- Extra pay opportunities throughout the year, as available
