Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the College of Education at Sul Ross State University.

Location: Alpine, TX

Department: College of Education

Salary: $1,000/month or $1,250/month after 18 semester credit hours have been completed.

Reporting to: Dr. Shelly Landreth, Department of Education Chair, and Madison Owen, Assistant Director of Education.

• An earned bachelor’s degree and enrollment in a Sul Ross State University graduate degree program (preferably in Education).
• Maintain at least six semester credit hours and work the equivalent of 20 hours per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to uphold strict confidentiality regarding personal information.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
• Excellent organization and technological skills.
• Strong focus on detail and task completion.

• Support the daily operations of the Education Office.
• Assist the advising team with outreach and intervention efforts.
• Provide academic and administrative support to faculty.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
