K-2 STEM Instructor

Code Ninjas Dripping Springs is currently looking to hire an experienced K-2 Teacher for our JR Program who can help create a fun and safe environment where children ages 5 to 7 can explore basic coding and STEM activities. This Jr Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching Code Ninjas JR program as well as enhancing our curriculum to support our Jr ninjas' technological development.

We will provide training, but experience in coding and/or STEM is a plus! Part‑time hours are centered around Saturday and some weekday evenings.

• Engaging students, answering questions, and assisting with problem‑solving
• Creating a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
• Leading group lessons, activities, and classes - some lesson planning will be needed but we provide the technology and resources.
• Communicating with parents about lessons
• Collaborating with the hands‑on center owner and Center Director to enhance the program

• Experience working with groups of K-2 students
• Equivalent to a Bachelor or higher in Early Childhood Education; or in the process of obtaining an equivalent degree
• No coding experience required but a huge plus
• Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching
• Patient, kind, and understanding
• Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work
• Energetic, upbeat, and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning
• Willing to learn basic coding and explore new technology

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
