Position: Secondary Principal (Grades 7–12)

District: Morton Independent School District – Morton, Texas

Salary: Competitive pay, commensurate with experience

Schedule: 4-day instructional week

Morton ISD is seeking a dynamic Secondary Principal (Grades 7–12) to lead a growing 2A campus in a supportive, high-energy school community. The principal will serve as the instructional leader and campus administrator, fostering academic excellence while supporting a fun, family-oriented culture with a strong small-town feel. This position includes full responsibility for all campus operations.

• Provide instructional leadership focused on student achievement and continuous improvement.
• Lead and manage all Title I requirements, including compliance, budgeting, parent engagement, and the Campus Improvement Plan.
• Support and collaborate with a highly committed, team-oriented staff.
• Oversee campus operations, discipline, safety, and student support systems.
• Promote a positive school culture that values relationships, high expectations, and student success in academics and athletics.
• Build strong partnerships with students, families, and the community.

• Master’s degree and valid Texas principal certification
• Secondary campus leadership experience preferred
• Title I leadership experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Strong instructional leadership and communication skills
