Title III Catalyst Director

Responsible for oversight and continuous improvement of Catalyst program and resources.
Major Duties:- Manage all aspects of Catalyst program:
- Ensure data is collected/analyzed for identification of student needs
- Ensure academic support resources are developed and implemented – requires working in close collaboration with faculty, Student Learning Center Coordinator, and Compass Guides to continually assess availability, relevance, quality, and success of academic support measures.
- Ensure measures are in place to effectively connect students to resources (working with faculty/department leadership to include course requirements, student incentives, progress standards, etc. to encourage student participation)
- Develop reports for key stakeholders and evaluation, recommending updates based on outcomes assessment.
- Fund requisition, allocation, and monitoring within LCU and grant reporting websites.
- Coordination with internal divisions (IT, Facilities) to track expenses and invoices ensuring items are paid in a timely fashion.
- Prepare reports on progress and resource management via Grant Solutions and Grants.gov website to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, policies, and deadlines.
- Establish regular communication loops with personnel for reporting documentation and establish routine meetings to monitor compliance and effectiveness.
- Work with faculty and student services personnel to implement support resources in collaboration with Compass Guides and Student Services.
- Familiarity with federal grant projects.
- Knowledge of compliance documentation requirements.
- Management of personnel and resources to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and expense management skills.
Minimum education:
BS or BA required. Preference given for coursework in education, STEM, process/organization management, data sciences, counseling, or social work.
Experience in higher education student academic support or related field with high-need and STEM populations is strongly preferred.
Preference given for experience with curriculum development and implementation processes.
Physical Requirements:- Be ambulatory around campus and in buildings.
- Required to regularly sit and stand.
- Frequently use wrists, hands and/or fingers to make small repetitive movements such as typing, distributing mail and picking up small objects.
- Ability to talk frequently to convey detailed and/or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly.
- Be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive verbal information.
- Occasionally lift packages and/or move heavy objects, 25+ lbs.
NOTE:
All LCU employees are required to complete Title IX & Information Security (FERPA) training and Data Security Training at the time of new hire and on an annual basis thereafter. Some positions/departments may require additional training for security or data needs.
