Spanish Teacher - Part-Time

The Anchored School is seeking a warm, engaging, and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to introduce children ages 2–5 to the Spanish language and culture through fun, age-appropriate activities. This is a part‑time position requiring approximately 3–4 hours per week, with classes held once a week.

• Introduce basic Spanish vocabulary, greetings, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, and everyday expressions.
• Plan engaging lessons using songs, stories, games, movement, and hands‑on activities.
• Adapt lessons to meet the developmental needs of children ages 2–5.
• Encourage children to participate and develop an early interest in learning a second language.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and follow school policies.

• Fluency in Spanish and strong communication skills.
• Experience teaching or working with young children preferred.
• A passion for early childhood education and language development.
• Creativity, patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to plan developmentally appropriate, interactive lessons.
• Relevant education, teaching experience, or early childhood training is a plus.
