Location: Beckville

Position Summary

This position is responsible for day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of natural gas, condensate, produced water, and gathering systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operate pipelines and associated equipment such as dehydrators, treating equipment, fluid separating equipment, valves, gas/liquid measurement equipment, pumps, etc.
  • Pigging and/or directing activities to pig pipelines used for natural gas, condensate and produced water gathering.
  • Start up, shut down, and adjust controls to bring equipment into recommended operating ranges.
  • Visually inspect equipment and controls at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or the need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
  • De‑pressurize and pressurize equipment and pipelines.
  • Perform gas leakage surveys.
  • Locate and mark underground pipelines and monitor construction activity along the right‑of‑way.
  • Implement safe work practices and maintain a proactive safety culture.
  • Keep Gas Control advised of any operational changes or safety‑related conditions.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and record‑keeping requirements are met (DOT, Railroad Commission, Operator Qualification plans).
  • Read, monitor, and record conditions such as pressures, temperatures, hours of operation, fuel consumed, water levels, and gauge readings.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment (dehydrators, separators, valves, pumps, etc.), including filter, oil, chemical, and lubricant replacement.
  • Replace gaskets, valves, and plugs as needed.
  • Change suction/discharge valves on compressors, light bulbs and fuses.
  • Maintain sites in clean condition (trash removal, weed control, minor painting).
  • Continually meet customer demands and improve upon expectations.
  • Maintain a near‑perfect driving record.
  • Direct and supervise contract labor involved in pipeline maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor on new ideas to improve the pipeline system.
  • Establish professional relationships with co‑workers, subordinates, officers, managers, clients, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when required.
  • Perform special projects and other job‑related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience &

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3 years of natural gas processing, compression and/or pipeline experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability under company vehicle policy.
  • Pass criminal history background check.
  • Pass pre‑employment drug test (subject to random, for‑cause and post‑accident testing).
