JOB FUNCTIONS AND

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Embody integrity, accountability, initiative, and respect in all correspondence and tasks performed.
  • Responsible for safe, compliant, efficient & reliable execution of midstream facility construction projects, including gas plants and compressor stations.
  • Drives communication with project stakeholders, including operations, measurement, SCADA/automation, and I&E.
  • Develops project scope, drawings, bill of materials, schedules, and cost estimates/AFE’s.
  • Manages project construction in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinates contractor bid process, selection, contracting, and change management in conjunction with legal and supply chain management teams. Holds contractors accountable to project scope, contractor MSA’s, and construction contracts.
  • Coordinates material selection, bids, PO requests, and deliveries in conjunction with supply chain management, engineering, and operations.
  • Reviews and approves/rejects invoices to ensure accuracy of tabulations and completion percentage.
  • Initiates and participates in Management of Change (MOC)/Post-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes.
  • Coordinates internal and external resources for pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up efforts.
  • Ensures that all job documentation is complete and retained per Company standards.
  • Provides supervision over Company inspectors and contractors.
  • Develops a strong service provider-oriented relationship with operations, engineering, and commercial groups.
  • When not acting as the Project Manager, works cooperatively with Project Manager to assure that projects are executed in accordance with approved budgets and schedules.
  • Assures that activities comply with local, state, federal, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Possesses knowledge of codes, standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to the midstream industry (including API, ASME B31.3/8 and VIII, DOT 192, NFPA/NEC, etc.).
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to learn and develop and to find solutions for maximizing value to the business unit.
  • Continually reviews assets to enhance safety, mechanical reliability, operational flexibility, and capacity.
  • Is able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objectives and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in gas plant/field operations, construction, maintenance, commissioning, or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license and safe driving record
  • Knowledge of general construction practices employed in midstream operations including pipelines, measurement, compressor stations, and processing facilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of industry standards, and codes including ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, DOT 192, ASME IX, and API 1104.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Isometric Drawings, Electrical One-Lines, Plot Plans, Navisworks 3D Models, etc.)
  • General knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical equipment and instrumentation used in the midstream industry (Manual and Automated Valves, Separators, Compressors, Pumps, Tanks, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work weekends & holidays as needed.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work independently with minimal supervision.
