Responsibilities

• Deliver project objective and technical approach in response to E2E business initiatives – reviewing and delivering to project objective, scope, timeline, allocated resources and reviewing risk assessments/contingency plans.
• Independently lead and coordinate cake & pastry product/process development, expertise in ingredient functionality, microbiology and formulation design according to consumer and business requirements.
• Responsible for E2E development and commercialization, hands‑on with lab, pilot and factory trials and troubleshooting all along the way.
• Lead and coordinate various learning plans and tests with consumer‑centric and brand‑equity requirements (e.g. consumer tests, shelf‑life tests, analytical tests). Develop technical specifications.
• Support platform manager to provide input to management on strategic direction of projects and innovation pipelines/strategy plan. Track marketing trends and creative ideas under category strategic plan.
• Support defining a future‑forward technical roadmap and lead some mid‑ to long‑term technical pillars.
• Network to leverage global capability as well as external industry good practice to explore advanced technical design and extended formats based on MDLZ requirements (e.g. brand, quality and well‑being).

• BS in Food Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering required. Masters desirable.
• +8 years of work experience in the food industry with a track record of successful developments; experience with soft bakery products is a plus.
• Strong technical expertise and problem solving.
• Strong project management, communication skills and fluent English preferred.
• Multi‑cultural exposure. No relocation support available.
