Brookshire Hyundai is seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in Brookshire, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive finance, with specific experience in Dealer track and dealership accounting systems. This role is pivotal in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance within our dealership.

• Oversee the dealership’s financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize Dealer track and other automotive-specific software to streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate with management to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies across financial operations.
• Support dealership operations with financial insights and strategic recommendations.

• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role within the automotive dealership industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Dealer track software and dealership accounting systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Competitive salary range of $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, paid weekly.
