OverviewMedical Behavioral Hospital of Clear Lake is adding therapists to our growing clinical service team to provide outstanding care to our patients and their families in their recovery journey. Therapists will provide daily individual and group counseling and best‑in‑class treatment planning and care coordination under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services. Therapists are master’s‑prepared clinicians focused on trauma‑informed care, compassion, and patient safety.

- Accountable for overall treatment planning efforts, care conferences with families and providers, family and provider care updates, psychosocial needs, and completion.
- Coordinate and facilitate the development of a discharge plan of care for the patient population, including accountability for the complex discharge process.
- Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.
- Education:
Master’s in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required. - LCSW, LPC, or LMHC provisionally licensed is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute in‑patient behavioral health hospital is a plus.
- Experience developing and administering treatment plans.
- Individual and group counseling techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills.
