Job SummaryNutritionist I provides nutritional information and services to patients, families, and interest groups.
Job Duties- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates nutritional programs.
- Develops and implements plan of care and correlates with other health services.
- Evaluates patient's nutritional care and provides follow‑up continuity of care.
- Instructs patients and families in nutritional principles, diet, food selection and economics.
- Provides consultation to and works with community groups.
- Maintains records of all individuals counseled.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field. No experience required.
- Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.
Nights and weekends possible. Must be willing to work until at least 6 pm for clinic hours, with flexibility if client needs require later or weekends. Position requires travel for training and coverage; must be willing to travel.
Salary RangeActual salary commensurate with experience.
