Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Frontpoint Health is a fast-growing home health agency committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care. We're currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team and help patients recover safely and comfortably in their homes.

• Assists the supervising OT and the physician in evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.
• Guides the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning.
• Observes, records, and reports to the supervising OT and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
• Instructs patient, significant others, and staff in the areas of therapy in which they can participate to assist the patient.
• Visits patient according to Plan of Treatment; completes a progress note for each visit; and submits progress notes to the agency on at least a weekly basis.
• Participates in developing the plan of treatment.
• Participates in staff conferences and committees as necessary.
• Attends all education and in-services as required.

• Currently licensed by the Texas board of Medical Examiners to assist in the practice of occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed Registered OT.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a licensed OTA.
• Current driver's license; with current automobile insurance.
