We’re seeking a Student Nurse Aide to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance are extremely important. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperate and politely work with others, and effectively multi-task in a stressful environment are also essential.

• Perform patient care only in areas for which the student has received training.
• Be accountable for personal care (grooming, bathing, catheter care, peri care, dressing) and observe residents within policy guidelines.
• Identify and report conditions requiring management attention.
• Change bed linens and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Turn and position patients routinely.
• Support nursing by assisting with non-nursing tasks like bed-making, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and gathering supplies.
• Perform range of motion exercises and reality orientation as directed.

• Provide proof of completing 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school/instructor.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication skills, self-discipline, and patience.
• Ability to follow the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
